Grit 120 refines the surface by reducing its roughness, an essential step in obtaining an even substrate before painting or lacquering. The pack of 10 pieces ensures continuity in repetitive work.

Sandpaper is an abrasive in sheet or disc form, often hook-and-loop backed, for fitting to sanders or backing pads to sand wood, metal, paint and filler.

What it is for

Used for sanding surfaces before painting, for sanding surfaces, as preparation or as a finish and for sanding wood before varnishing or finishing.

How to use it

Choose the same shape and hole pattern as the backing pad, so that the holes line up for dust extraction. Start with a coarse grit (low number) and move to finer grits up to the finish without skipping too many steps. Sand with light pressure, keeping the machine moving, and change the sheet when it is clogged or worn smooth.

Where it is used

Vehicle body repair

Mechanical engineering industry

Renovation

Technical data

Grit size: 120

Pieces per pack: 10

Diameter (mm): 125

Grit: 120

Who it is for

Designed for vehicle body repairers, joiners, painters and decorators and furniture makers.

Related products

Abrasive disc 125 - 8 holes DeWalt DT3106-QZ

Abrasive disc 125 - 8 holes DeWalt DT3103-QZ

Cordless orbital sander 1/4 sheet 18V XR DeWalt DCW200P2-QW — from the category Random Orbital Sanders

Backing pads for angle grinders DeWalt DT3610-QZ — from the category Backing Pads for Random Orbital and Orbital Sanders

Pre-filter P2 IRU-7800 for IRU 800 half mask Irudek — from the category Dust and Gas Respirators

Browse the whole category: Sandpaper Sheets

Before you order

In your request, please state the diameter and the quantities required, so we can give you the right quotation first time.

For prices and availability, request a quote from AMES Srl: we will reply with our quotation, delivery times and, where needed, an equivalent technical alternative.
