The very aggressive grit 40 is ideal for initial roughing, removing old finishes and levelling uneven surfaces over large areas.

Sandpaper is an abrasive in sheet or disc form, often hook-and-loop backed, for fitting to sanders or backing pads to sand wood, metal, paint and filler.

What it is for

Used for sanding surfaces before painting, for sanding surfaces, as preparation or as a finish and for sanding wood before varnishing or finishing.

How to use it

Choose the same shape and hole pattern as the backing pad, so that the holes line up for dust extraction. Start with a coarse grit (low number) and move to finer grits up to the finish without skipping too many steps. Sand with light pressure, keeping the machine moving, and change the sheet when it is clogged or worn smooth.

Where it is used

Vehicle body repair

Mechanical engineering industry

Renovation

Technical data

Grit size: 40

Pieces per pack: 25

Diameter (mm): 150

Grit: 40

Who it is for

Designed for vehicle body repairers, joiners, painters and decorators and furniture makers.

Related products

Abrasive disc 150 - 6 holes DeWalt DT3132-QZ

Abrasive disc 150 - 6 holes DeWalt DT3128-QZ

Random orbital sander 125 mm XR 18V in case without batteries DeWalt DCW210NT-XJ — from the category Random Orbital Sanders

Backing pad, 150 mm, soft, DeWalt DE2644-XJ — from the category Backing Pads for Random Orbital and Orbital Sanders

Bayonet filter for Duo and Duetta Spasciani 2030 A2 Neri 151341 — from the category Dust and Gas Respirators

Browse the whole category: Sandpaper Sheets

Before you order

In your request, please state the diameter and the quantities required, so we can give you the right quotation first time.

For prices and availability, request a quote from AMES Srl: we will reply with our quotation, delivery times and, where needed, an equivalent technical alternative.
