The Carbide Grit head is designed for working concrete, while the SDS Max shank ensures compatibility with professional rotary hammers. The large diameter makes it suitable for the most demanding drilling jobs.

An SDS-Max bit is a carbide-tipped bit for rotary hammers with an SDS-Max chuck, for large-diameter, deep holes in concrete and masonry.

What it is for

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Clean and lightly grease the shank, insert it into the chuck until it locks and select hammer drilling. Drill with the hammer held in line with the hole, letting the machine's weight do the work without pushing, and withdraw the bit frequently to clear the dust. If you hit a reinforcing bar, stop and move the hole; do not cool a hot bit in water.

Where it is used

Demolition

Residential construction

Building services

Renovation

Technical data

Diameter (mm): 35

Head type: Carbide grit

Working length (mm): 250

Application material: Concrete

Length (mm): 380

Shank connection: SDS MAX

Who it is for

Designed for demolition operatives, electricians, plumbers and bricklayers.

Related products

SDS Max XLR bit 35x570x450mm DeWalt DT60838-QZ

SDS Max XLR bit 32x920x800mm DeWalt DT60836-QZ

SDS-Max hammer XR FlexVolt 54V brushless (without batteries) DeWalt — from the category Combination Hammers

L-shaped rotary hammer SDS-Plus, 3 modes, 30mm, 3.5J, 950W, with AVC D25333K-QS DeWalt — from the category Rotary Hammers

Resin Ac100-Nordic, vinyl ester, styrene-free, DeWalt DFC1250000 — from the category Chemical Anchors

Browse the whole category: SDS Max Drill Bits

Before you order

In your request, please state the length, the diameter, the connection type and the quantities required, so we can give you the right quotation first time.

For prices and availability, request a quote from AMES Srl: we will reply with our quotation, delivery times and, where needed, an equivalent technical alternative.
