The working angle of between 0 and 15° makes it particularly suitable for flat work, with an almost flush contact that favours a uniform surface finish.

A flap disc is an abrasive made of overlapping cloth flaps, on a disc for angle grinders or on a shank for straight grinders, that roughs down and finishes metal and wood.

What it is for

Used for sanding metal, from roughing to finishing, for deburring metal after cutting and drilling and for grinding and cleaning up weld seams and burrs.

How to use it

Fit the disc on the angle grinder, or insert the shank-mounted flap wheel in the collet of the straight grinder or drill, observing the maximum speed. Work with light pressure at a slight angle, keeping the tool moving so as not to overheat or mark the workpiece. Progress from coarse to fine grits for finishing, and replace the disc when the cloth is worn down to the backing.

Where it is used

Vehicle body repair

Mechanical engineering industry

Mechanical workshops

Technical data

Material: Zirconium

Dimensions (mm): 115 × 22

Angle: 0-15°

Who it is for

Designed for vehicle body repairers, metal fabricators, industrial maintenance technicians and welders.

Related products

Zircocer Classic flap disc Fervi DN9100.314

Zircocer Classic flap disc Fervi DF9150.324

125mm 1200W angle grinder Fervi FFAG12003V-125K — from the category Angle Grinders

Spectacles with side arms OSB3 Neri 162042 — from the category Safety Glasses, Goggles and Face Shields

Vitrified pink mounted grinding points Fervi MCG2020/06A — from the category Mounted Abrasive Points

Browse the whole category: Flap Discs for Metal and Wood

Before you order

Tell us the quantities you need and the intended use: if there is a more suitable version, or an equivalent available sooner, we will let you know.

For prices and availability, request a quote from AMES Srl: we will reply with our quotation, delivery times and, where needed, an equivalent technical alternative.
