It offers a measuring range from 0 to 100 A with a reading of 2 A and is particularly easy to handle, with a gross weight of 0.16 kg and a pack of 130x80x40 h mm. Direct reading on the scale makes it simple and immediate to use on the workpiece.

The durometer is an instrument that measures the hardness of rubber and plastics, by pressing a point onto the material and reading the value on a scale.

What it is for

Used in quality control of parts and workmanship and for measuring on site and in the workshop.

How to use it

Place the instrument on the material, flat and perpendicular, on a piece of sufficient thickness and away from the edges. Press firmly until the base touches the workpiece and read the value. Repeat the measurement several times and take the average.
