Made in compliance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and bearing the CE mark, it combines a gentle action with consistent performance.

A rotary brush is a twisted-knot wire or nylon accessory for grinders, drills and bench machines that removes rust, paint and scale.

What it is for

Used for preparing joint edges before welding, for cleaning oxides, grease and machining residues from metal and for removing rust and oxides.

How to use it

Fit the brush to a machine with a compatible attachment, checking that the brush's maximum speed is higher than that of the machine. Run it unloaded for a few seconds away from other people, then work with light pressure: pressing too hard bends the wires and makes them break off. Use stainless steel wire brushes on stainless steel, and always wear safety glasses or a face shield and gloves.

Where it is used

Mechanical engineering industry

Mechanical workshops

Technical data

Grit: 80

Material: Abrasive nylon

Diameter (mm): 75

Shank diameter (mm): 6

Colour: Red

Maximum speed (rpm): 4500

Gross weight (kg): 0,06

Packaging dimensions (mm): 80x80x45 h

Who it is for

Designed for metal fabricators and welders.

Related products

Nylon circular brush with shaft Fervi SNG075/180B

Nylon circular brush with shaft Fervi

115mm 780W angle grinder Fervi FFAG07803A-115K — from the category Angle Grinders

Safety glasses Peak OTG Portwest PS24 — from the category Safety Glasses, Goggles and Face Shields

Cordless screwdriver with bits Fervi FB36CS3AS-15M — from the category Drill Drivers

Browse the whole category: Twisted Knot Wire Brushes

Before you order

In your request, please state the colour, the diameter and the quantities required, so we can give you the right quotation first time.

For prices and availability, request a quote from AMES Srl: we will reply with our quotation, delivery times and, where needed, an equivalent technical alternative.
