## Description

### What it is

The Fervi T044/230V is a gear-drive bench drilling and milling machine that brings the rigidity of pillar machines into a compact footprint suited to the workbench. It drills cast iron up to Ø 40 mm and S235JR steel up to Ø 32 mm with a pilot hole, mills up to Ø 80 mm with an insert cutter (Ø 32 mm with a cylindrical cutter) and taps up to M27 in cast iron and M24 in steel, with a Morse taper CM 4 connection and a B16 chuck from 1 to 13 mm. The 6 spindle speeds, from 75 to 1600 rpm with right and left rotation, and the 120 mm stroke ensure high torque; the head tilts by ± 60° and the manual vertical feed has 0.02 mm graduations. The 1.5 kW motor runs on 230 V.

### What it is for

### How to use it

Clamp the workpiece in the vice, or fix the magnetic base to clean steel; never hold the workpiece by hand. Fit the bit in the chuck and tighten it firmly, set the speed according to diameter and material and drill with a steady feed, using coolant on metals. Wear safety glasses, no gloves near the chuck, and keep sleeves and hair tied back.
