It allows threaded elements, for example with an M8 thread, to be installed in masonry and concrete substrates, offering a versatile alternative to mechanical fixings. The product is covered by the European regulatory framework for anchors (ETA, EAD, EN 1992-4 and EU Regulation 305/2011 CPR), which documents its reliability.

Chemical anchor is a two-component resin in a cartridge that, injected into the drilled hole, bonds threaded rods and internally threaded sockets to the substrate; the category includes mesh sleeves and injection accessories.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for chemical anchoring, where the load or edge distance rules out a mechanical anchor and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.

How to use it

Drill the substrate to the specified diameter and depth, clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump, repeating several times, and insert a mesh sleeve in hollow brick. Discard the first resin until the colour is uniform, inject from the bottom of the hole and insert the rod with a twisting motion. Apply load only after the curing time stated for the substrate temperature.

Where it is used

Industrial construction

Residential construction

Renovation

Technical data

Regulations: ETA, EAD, EN 1992-4, Reg.
