## Description

### What it is

Seal for wooden windows and doors, model 100, brown and sold by the metre. It is not stuck onto the rebate: it is inserted into a groove milled in the wood of the frame, 4 mm wide and 7 mm deep. The 4 shown in the data is therefore the width of the groove, not of the seal. In the same series model 104 goes into 5x8 mm grooves, and models 106 and 107 into 3.5x8 mm grooves.

Draught excluder seals are self-adhesive strips in rubber, PVC or fabric, or door draught excluders, that seal gaps around doors and windows against draughts and noise.

### What it is for

Used for woodworking in the joinery shop and for thermal insulation of walls, roofs and pipework.

### How to use it

Clean and degrease the rebate of the door or window and let it dry. Measure the gap to choose the correct thickness, peel back the backing gradually and apply the seal, pressing it in place without stretching it; fit the draught excluder along the bottom of the door. Finally, check that the door or window closes without forcing.

### Where it is used

- Residential construction
- Building maintenance

### Who it is for

Designed for joiners, building maintenance operatives and glaziers.
