Ideal for installers, metal fabricators and building companies working with chemical anchors in situations where mechanical hold is critical.

Chemical anchor is a two-component resin in a cartridge that, injected into the drilled hole, bonds threaded rods and internally threaded sockets to the substrate; the category includes mesh sleeves and injection accessories.

What it is for

Used for chemical anchoring, where the load or edge distance rules out a mechanical anchor and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.

How to use it

Drill the substrate to the specified diameter and depth, clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump, repeating several times, and insert a mesh sleeve in hollow brick. Discard the first resin until the colour is uniform, inject from the bottom of the hole and insert the rod with a twisting motion. Apply load only after the curing time stated for the substrate temperature.

Where it is used

Industrial construction

Residential construction

Renovation

Technical data

Material: Polyethylene

Compatible thread: M6-M8, M8-M10, M8-M12, M12-M16

Diameter x length (mm): 12x45, 12x60, 12x80, 15x85, 15x130, 16x85, 16x130, 20x85

Who it is for

Designed for formwork carpenters, metal fabricators, plumbers and bricklayers.

Related products

Nylon expansion plug Unifix

Steel mesh plug Unifix

Threaded rod, steel, class 8.8, Unifix — from the category Threaded Rods

Gun for Maxbond side-by-side cartridges Unifix — from the category Adhesive and Sealant Application Systems

SDS-Plus shank bit S3L Unifix — from the category Drill Bits for Granite, Masonry and Concrete

Browse the whole category: Chemical Anchors

Before you order

In your request, please state the length, the diameter and the quantities required, so we can give you the right quotation first time.

For prices and availability, request a quote from AMES Srl: we will reply with our quotation, delivery times and, where needed, an equivalent technical alternative.
