Temporary fence clips connect the panels or modules of temporary fencing to each other, forming a stable, continuous barrier. They are used on building sites, at events and in areas that need to be cordoned off temporarily. The model must be chosen according to the type of fencing, checking that it is compatible with the panels in use.

In the catalogue the two models are distinguished by their code and by compatibility with the fencing system. The technical data sheets give the dimensions and uses of each model. Before purchase, compare the code with the type of fencing you use, because the two clips are not always interchangeable.

Temporary fencing is mounted on support bases or ballast and connected together with the clips. Check that the panels are aligned and that the clips are closed and locked at every joint. Check the stability periodically, especially after strong wind or impacts. Read the panel manufacturer's instructions.

Custom-made products are items made to measure or to a specific request, different from catalogue items. For this reason they do not always have a standard data sheet. For a made-to-measure item, a drawing or a precise description of the use is needed, to be assessed together with the quote request.

They are used by building contractors, site managers, fencing hire companies and event organisers who need to cordon off an area. They allow fencing to be put up and taken down several times, even in different places. For frequent use, check the condition of the clips every time you put up the fencing.

Start from the panel model you use and the type of joint to be made. Compare the reference shown on the panel with the one on the clip's data sheet. If the panels are from different manufacturers, check compatibility before buying, because an unsuitable clip may not hold the joint.

Fit the clips with your hands protected by work gloves and check that the closure is complete. Do not hang loads unrelated to the fencing from it and do not use it as a support or an anchor point. When handling the panels, watch the weight and work in pairs when the panel is bulky.

Site fencing falls within the safety measures that Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008 on workplace safety requires to be assessed in site management. The safety and coordination plan must state how to cordon off the area and protect people passing nearby.
