Ground Drilling Machinery

How to choose

Start from the diameter and depth of the hole and the type of soil: the harder or more compact it is, the more power you need. A powered earth auger is much faster than a hand auger for many holes, but in the larger diameters it requires two operators. Check the compatibility of bits and rods with the machine.

Auger bits wear with use, especially in stony soil: keeping spare blades and an extension rod to hand avoids machine downtime on site.
