Heavy-Duty Anchors

Heavy-duty fixings are anchors and wall plugs for high loads in concrete, solid masonry and other strong substrates. They are used when the fixing supports structures, brackets, load-bearing shelves, installations or machinery and must withstand tension and shear.

How to choose

The substrate determines the type of anchor: concrete, solid masonry or hollow brick. After that, what matters is the load to be supported, the diameter and setting depth specified by the manufacturer, and the working environment: outdoors or in damp conditions, galvanised or stainless steel is required. For structural loads, it is advisable to have the choice checked by the designer.
