What it is

The Bossong BSBX2 sheet-metal sleeve anchor (code BSBX2) is a mechanical expansion anchor designed for stable fixings in non-cracked concrete. An ideal solution for building, industrial and maintenance professionals who require a strong, durable anchoring system without compromise.

A sleeve anchor is a metal expansion anchor, made up of a bolt and sleeve, that expands in the hole when tightened, for fixings in concrete and solid masonry.

What it is for

Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.

How to use it

Drill the substrate to the anchor diameter and to a depth at least equal to its length, then clear the dust from the hole. Insert the anchor through the fixture and tap it home until it seats. Tighten the nut or screw with a spanner until expansion is felt, without exceeding the torque stated by the manufacturer.
