Clean Water Pumps

Clean water pumps move water free of solids: for irrigation, supplying systems, emptying tanks and cisterns, and pressurisation. The collection includes surface and submersible electric pumps from brands such as Wortex, Pedrollo, Kärcher, Vigor, Makita and Milwaukee.

How to choose

Start with the flow rate, that is, litres per minute, and the head, that is, the height to which the water must be lifted. Then the position: surface if the pump stays out of the water, submersible if it is to be immersed. The electrical power available and the diameter of the connections, to be matched to the system pipes, also matter.

If the water contains sand or other impurities, a clean water pump is not the right choice: in that case you need a pump designed for dirty water.
