Water pressure booster system with polyethylene tank and submersible pump Rototec

What it is

Pre-assembled pressure booster set consisting of a polyethylene tank fitted with a brass float valve for topping up water from the mains, a PP connector for the safety overflow, a submersible electric pump with delivery pipe and non-return (clapet) valve, and a pressure-flow switch for controlling the pump. Function: pressurisation system for small to medium domestic lines, essential when mains pressure is low or variable. It also acts as a water reserve in the event of temporary interruptions.

A clean water pump is a surface or submersible electric pump that lifts or pressurises clear water from wells, cisterns and tanks.

What it is for

Used in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems, in irrigation systems, from the water supply point to the emitter and for pumping water out of excavations, tanks and sumps.

How to use it

Install surface pumps on a level base close to the draw-off point, with a foot valve on the suction pipe, and fill them with water before first start-up; lower submersible pumps suspended on a rope. Use them only with clean, sand-free water and never let them run dry. Connect them to a circuit protected by an RCD and, in winter, drain outdoor pumps to protect them from frost.
