Bolts or Metric Screws
76 products · Screws and Rivets
Bolts and metric screws are the threaded fasteners used to join metal parts, usually together with a nut and washer. The metric thread is specified by the diameter in millimetres (for example M8) and the pitch, while the length is measured under the head. They are used in steelwork, and in the assembly of machinery, structures and installations.
Types in the collection
- Hex head bolts with nut, in galvanised steel.
- Cap screws with hex socket and hex head screws, including in stainless steel.
- Round head square neck bolts, which do not turn in the square hole.
- Flange screws, wing screws and hook screws, for hand tightening or special anchoring.
How to choose
You need the diameter, pitch and length, the strength class (for example 8.8, marked on the head) and the material: galvanised steel for common use, stainless steel in damp or aggressive environments. The nut and washer must be the same size as the screw and of a suitable class.
