What it is
The Unifix metric-thread security screw (code 0265-18-50-01 and variants) is the professional solution for anti-theft and anti-intrusion fixings where resistance to unscrewing is a priority. Designed for installers, window and door fitters and security companies, it ensures a stable anchorage on window grilles, gates and metal structures exposed to tampering risks.
Metric fasteners include metric-thread screws and bolts, spacers and small parts such as split pins, for joining parts with a nut or into a tapped hole.
What it is for
Used for assembling steel structures, in steel fabrication, from cutting to assembly and for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors.
How to use it
Choose diameter, length, property class and material, zinc-plated or stainless, according to the joint and the environment. Insert the screw into the clearance or tapped hole, add the washer and tighten the nut with a spanner of the correct size, without exceeding the specified torque. Insert split pins through the hole in the pin or bolt and bend them over to stop the nut from working loose.
