Stick (MMA) Welders and Welding Accessories

Stick welding, or MMA, uses a coated electrode that melts in the electric arc and shields the weld pool. It is the simplest and most robust process, suited to metalwork, maintenance and outdoor work, and requires no gas.

What you will find in the collection

• MMA inverter welders, light and portable, from brands such as Awelco and Vigor, also in a case with accessories.
• Engine-driven welders by Pramac, with a petrol engine, for working where there is no mains supply.
• Accessories: helmet, cables with earth clamp and electrode holder, brushes.

A.M.E.S. models are also available. Inverter welders are valued because they are light and easy to carry from one site to another.

How to choose

The maximum welding current matters, for example 140 or 200 A, because it determines the diameter of the electrodes and the thicknesses you can weld. Then consider the power supply available, the weight if you need to move around often, and which accessories are included in the kit.
