Impact Drivers and Impact Wrenches
116 products · Drills, Drivers and Electric Hammers
Impact drivers and impact wrenches are tools that drive and remove screws and bolts by delivering rotary blows: when resistance increases, the hammer mechanism develops a much higher torque than a standard driver. They are used in metalwork, mechanical assembly, building sites and workshops.
What you will find in the collection
- Impact drivers with 1/4" hex drive, light and compact, for screws and bits.
- Impact wrenches with square drive, from 1/2" up to larger sizes, for bolts and nuts.
- Cordless models with brushless motor, also in kits with batteries and charger, or bare tool only.
- Pneumatic models, powered by compressed air, for heavy use.
How to choose
Start with the drive: the 1/4" hex is ideal for screws and fixings, the square drive for bolts and nuts with sockets. Then check the maximum torque, in Nm, suited to the tightening you need, and the battery voltage. If you already have other cordless tools, choose the same system, because batteries are not interchangeable between different brands. For continuous use in a workshop, pneumatic models are a good alternative, if you have a compressor.
