Electric Core Drills

Electric core drills are machines with an electric motor that carry a diamond core bit to cut cylindrical through holes in concrete, reinforced concrete and masonry. They are used for pipe and service runs, openings for doors and windows, anchor holes and test cores.

Types available in the collection

• Stand-mounted core drills, fixed to the support with an anchor bolt or by vacuum, for large-diameter holes with greater precision.
• Hand-held core drills, freehand or with a small support, for small-diameter holes.
• Dry and wet core drills, depending on the cooling system of the core bit.

How to choose

The diameter and depth of the holes to be made matter: the motor power and the type of support depend on the diameter. Large holes need the stand, while for small ones the hand-held machine is enough. Choose the diamond core bit according to the material, reinforced concrete or masonry, and consider whether water is available on site.
