Metal Grinding Discs

Metal grinding discs are used to grind and finish metal surfaces with an angle grinder: they remove cutting burrs, weld beads and oxide, and prepare the workpiece for painting or subsequent treatments. This collection includes products from Fervi, Makita, DeWalt, Rubi, Milwaukee, Unifix and Fischer.

Types available in the collection

• Depressed-centre abrasive discs: the most common for deburring and chamfering steel and iron.
• Vulcanised fibre discs: with zirconia or corundum grain, for removing material with less overheating.
• Quick-change discs: X-Lock or Fast Lock type systems for changing discs without a spanner.
• Discs for stainless steel and steel: specific versions for the different metals.

How to choose

Choose according to the metal to be worked, the diameter and bore of the grinder, the grit and the maximum speed marked on the disc, which must never be exceeded. For work on stainless steel, it is best to use dedicated discs.
