How to choose
Always give the model of the machine when looking for a spare part or accessory, because heads, blades and filters are model-specific. For lawn mowers, consider the area to be cut and the type of power; for intensive use, choose professional-range machines.

Frequently asked questions: Efco
Which Efco lawn mower should you choose between push and self-propelled?
A push lawn mower is operated by hand and is suitable for small and medium lawns. The self-propelled model transmits drive to the wheels and reduces fatigue on larger areas or on slight slopes. The choice depends on the area to be cut, the type of grass and the space available. Before each use, check the blade, remove stones and objects from the lawn and keep your hands away from the cutting area.
Which head and line are needed for an Efco brushcutter?
Nylon line heads are used to cut tall grass, brambles and scrub, with the line spinning at high speed. The line diameter is chosen according to the job: thin lines for grass, thicker ones for brambles. Before fitting the head, check that the attachment matches your brushcutter model. Always work with a visor, ear protection and suitable work clothing.
Which fuel mix and oil should be used for Efco two-stroke machines?
Two-stroke engine machines require a mixture of petrol and oil in the ratio specified by the manufacturer. The Mix Alkylate fuel is designed for use in two-stroke engines. Always use oil specific to two-stroke engines, and store the mixture in a sealed can away from heat sources. Do not leave fuel in the machine for long periods, as it can deteriorate.
How do you choose a lance for an Efco pressure washer?
The lance determines how the water leaves the nozzle. Rotojet lances and those with a turbine-effect rotating nozzle are for stubborn dirt, while the floor-cleaning lance is designed for large surfaces. The abrasive sand lance should only be used if the model provides for it. Choose the nozzle according to the pressure of the machine and the surface. Never point the jet at people or animals.
Which drain-cleaning nozzle or probe should be used to clear blocked drains?
Drain-cleaning nozzles and the pressure washer probe are used to clean blocked pipes and drains, by driving the jet into the pipe. The Efco probe 68500005A is designed for the brand's pressure washers. Before use, check the pipe diameter and the connection to the machine. The jet can be very powerful: hold the lance firmly and do not direct it at your face or hands.
Which filters and hoses are needed for an Efco pressure washer?
The water filter kit protects the pump from sand and impurities in the supply water. The delivery hose carries pressurised water to the lance. The mixture hose, however, belongs to petrol engines and must not be used on the pressure washer. Check the condition of the hoses at each use and replace any that are cracked or leaking. Always use the hose specified for the pressure of the machine.
Which helmet and clothing should you choose for garden machine work?
The protective helmet protects the head from branches and objects falling during cutting in scrubland or under trees. It should be chosen to EN 397, which covers protective helmets, and combined with a visor and ear protection. Lightweight jackets and winter caps are designed for outdoor work, so choose garments that do not snag and do not restrict movement.
