Line for brushcutters and strimmers

• Round line for general grass cutting.
• Square-section and shaped line, which cuts thick grass more deeply.
• Replacement line on spools, for Makita and DeWalt cordless machines.
• Professional line from Efco and Husqvarna in coils and spools.

Tying wire

• Spools of wire, galvanised or plastic-coated, for tying plants and supports in nurseries and vegetable gardens.
• Annealed wire, also on spools for tying machines.
• Coated flat strips for delicate ties.

How to choose

For the brushcutter, the diameter and section of the line matter, and they must be compatible with the head and with the power of the machine: a line that is too thin wears out quickly, one that is too thick overloads the motor. For tying, you choose between galvanised, plastic-coated and annealed according to the material to be tied and the exposure.
