Abrasive Sheets/Rolls for Hand Use

Abrasive sheets, rolls and blades for hand use, to sand and finish wood, metal and surfaces being prepared for painting, with no need for a sander.

Types available

• Abrasive paper rolls in various widths and lengths, such as 120 mm x 5 m and 120 mm x 50 m (Makita, DeWalt, Vigor).
• Special sheets and papers: silicate paper, waterproof latex paper and stearate-coated paper (Fervi).
• Non-woven rolls (Fervi, Milwaukee).
• Replacement abrasive blades for the 621 scraper (Pavan) and sanding blocks.

How to choose

Choose the grit according to the job: coarse to remove paint or material, fine for finishing. The roll can be cut to the size required and is economical for repeated work, while the sheet is handier for one-off jobs. For wet sanding you need waterproof papers.

When sanding flat surfaces by hand, it is best to wrap the sheet around a sanding block, so that the pressure is spread evenly and no dips are created. On edges and profiles you can use the roll or the sheet folded instead.
