It depends on the job: for trimming and chamfering, light trimmers, including cordless, are enough, while for deep grooves and shaping you need a more powerful plunge router. Check the shank diameter of the cutter, 6, 8 or 12 mm, and the compatibility of the guides with the chosen model.
