Ropes and Temporary Lifelines

71 products · Work at Height — Fall Protection

Temporary ropes and lifelines are systems that allow you to work at height by clipping on to a point or to a line installed for the duration of the job, for example on a roof, a scaffold or a structure under construction. They protect against the risk of falling from height and are dismantled at the end of the job. In the collection you will find products from Petzl, Irudek, Neri, CSC Edilizia, Portwest, SpanSet and A.M.E.S.

What you will find in the collection

  • Ropes and wire ropes: semi-static ropes, wire ropes with terminations and ropes for fall arrest.
  • Horizontal and vertical safety lines: temporary systems to be installed between two anchors.
  • Fall arrest kits: with sliding device and rope, ready to use.
  • Rope protectors: rollers and protection against sharp edges.

How to choose

Consider the length of the line, the type of anchor available, the clearance height below the worker and the number of people connected. Anchors are verified according to the EN 795 standard and all components must be compatible with one another. Ropes must be protected from sharp edges and checked before each use.
