Greases

Greases are semi-solid lubricants that protect bearings, gears, guides, joints and pins against wear and corrosion, and that stay in place where an oil would run off. In this collection you will find greases for everyday use on site, in the workshop and in maintenance, in tubes, sprays and aerosol cans.

Types of grease in the collection

• Greases in tubes: lithium, silicone, PTFE, petroleum jelly and marine or high-performance greases, from brands such as Faren and NPT Sigill.
• Spray greases: multi-purpose, copper-based for high temperatures and pressures, and quick-tack sprays, including Chemical Roadmaster and NPT Sigill.
• Food-grade greases: lubricants designed for machinery in the food industry.
• Greases for tools: lubricants for bits and fittings, such as those from Milwaukee.

How to choose the right grease

The working environment matters most: for water, fresh or salt, you need silicone or PTFE formulations that resist washout; for high temperatures or heavy loads, dedicated greases are chosen; for food machinery you need a product suitable for that use. The packaging matters as much as the formula: the tube is good for precise dosing, the spray for reaching awkward spots.
