Scale and Rust

Scale and rust products are used to remove limescale, lime and cement residues and rust stains from floors, hard surfaces, metals and plant, or to convert rust into a stable layer that can be painted over.

Types in the collection

• Rust converters: stop and transform rust on metal before painting.

How to choose

First of all the substrate matters: acids attack marble and calcareous stones, so they should be tested first on a hidden spot. Then the nature of the dirt matters: limescale and cement require a descaler, rust a converter or a deoxidiser. Always wear gloves and follow the dilutions given in the technical data sheet.
