Band Saw Blades for Metal

Band saw blades for metal are continuous toothed bands that fit on band saws to cut pipes, profiles, bars and sheet metal. They are used in the workshop, in metalwork and in industrial maintenance, on both stationary machines and portable band saws.

Types available in the collection

• Bi-metal blades: high-speed steel teeth welded to a flexible back, for commonly used steels.
• Blades for portable band saws: for cordless models, in various lengths.
• HCS blades: in carbon steel, for general cutting.

How to choose

First check the length and width of the band specified by the saw manufacturer, then the tooth pitch (teeth per inch): finer for thin walls and tubes, coarser for solid sections. What counts is how many teeth remain engaged in the workpiece.
