Engine-driven floor saws, also known as road saws, are machines with an engine and a diamond blade that cut asphalt, concrete and paving. They are used to make expansion joints, chases for pipes and cables, and for the repair of roads and industrial floors.

How to choose

It depends on the cutting depth, the material (asphalt or concrete), the engine (petrol or diesel) and the length of the job. The diamond blade should be chosen according to the material to be cut. The brand included is Sea Technology. For work on asphalt, also consider the water cooling system for the blade, while for dry cutting you need a suitable blade and dust extraction.
