Professional Wood Drill Bits

Wood drill bits are used to make holes in solid timber, blockboard, plywood and panels, both in joinery workshops and on site. In this collection you will find single bits and sets for drills and drivers, from DeWalt, Fervi, Milwaukee, Unifix, Fischer, Bossong and Makita.

Types of bit available

• Twist drill bits for wood: for small and medium-diameter holes, also available in sets.
• Forstner bits: for flat-bottomed holes, for example to house hinges.

How to choose the bit

Start from the diameter of the hole and its shape: through, blind or flat-bottomed. Then check the length against the thickness of the workpiece and the shank, which must be compatible with the chuck of the drill or driver.
