Heavy-Duty Telescopic Props

Heavy-duty telescopic props are adjustable steel columns that temporarily support floors, formwork, beams and structures during building and refurbishment work. The telescopic section allows the height to be adjusted and the weight to be transferred to the bearing point.

How to choose

Consider the minimum and maximum working height and the load capacity that the manufacturer declares at that height, because the capacity drops as the prop is extended. The type of base and head also matters, depending on what you need to support, as does the number of props required.
