How to choose
What matters is the length of the perimeter to be enclosed, the height of the panels and the type of ground: feet suit flat, compact surfaces, stakes suit soil. Plastic mesh is suitable for marking only, while a metal panel prevents access. Also consider gates for entrances and how repeatable the installation needs to be.
AMES Srl works on a quotation basis: tell us the linear metres and the type of ground and we will prepare the offer.

Frequently asked questions: Temporary Fencing and Mesh
What are temporary nets or fencing for?
They mark out construction or work areas, prevent access by unauthorised persons, and protect against falling materials and passing vehicles.
Which variables should be chosen?
Height, panel length, type of mesh (finer mesh to contain dust and debris), the support or fixing system, and wind resistance for outdoor installations.
Is a ground anchoring system needed?
Yes, temporary fencing must be anchored so it does not overturn in the wind. The base or stake support system should be chosen according to the ground type and the height of the fence.
When should a net be used instead of a barrier?
Netting is better when continuous, lightweight demarcation is needed; a portable barrier is suitable for signalling and separating routes with frequent access. The two solutions are often combined.
