Mechanical repair brings together the materials and tools for restoring worn or damaged mechanical components: damaged threads, lost circlips, gaskets, springs, pins and press-fitted parts to be pulled off.

How to choose

To restore a thread you need the right diameter and pitch, as well as the length of the insert. For pullers, the diameter of the part to be removed and the number of jaws matter: two jaws for parts accessible from both sides, three for a more stable extraction. For liquid gaskets check the maximum temperature and the fluids they are compatible with.
