Polyurethane (PU) Foams for Thermal and Acoustic Insulation
25 products · Professional Acrylic, PU, MS Polymer and Bituminous Sealants
Polyurethane (PU) foams are expanding foams in aerosol cans used for sealing, filling, insulating and bonding in construction. Once cured they provide thermal and acoustic insulation and are widely used for fitting window and door frames, filling gaps and bonding insulation boards. In this collection you will find products from Unifix and NPT Sigill.
Types in the collection
- Gun-applied foams: adhesive, flexible, with precise, controllable dispensing.
- Adhesive foams for external wall insulation systems: for bonding insulation boards.
- Thermal and acoustic foams: for window and door frames and for seals with an insulating function.
- Fire-resistant foams: for seals where fire resistance is required.
How to choose
Choose according to the application: fitting window and door frames, filling, bonding boards or fire sealing. Check the format (gun-applied or with a straw) and the application temperature range shown on the can. Cured foam must be trimmed and protected from UV rays with plaster or sealant.
