The cordless stick vacuum is a stick-type vacuum cleaner, generally cordless, lightweight and easy to handle: it is used for quick cleaning of floors and surfaces on construction sites, in workshops, warehouses and offices, without dragging a cable or a wet-and-dry drum vacuum around.

How to choose

The battery matters most: voltage and capacity determine the run time, and if you already have tools of a certain brand it is best to choose a model compatible with the same batteries. Then consider the weight, the type of filter and the accessories supplied. Brands include Makita, Kärcher, Stanley, Nilfisk and Vigor.
