Drywall Screws

37 products · Screws and Rivets

Drywall screws are used to fasten plasterboard sheets to the metal profiles or timber framing of walls, suspended ceilings and linings. They have a bugle head, which sinks into the board without breaking the paper facing, and a point and thread suited to the substrate.

Types in the collection

  • Collated screws for screwdrivers with auto-feed magazine, with fine or coarse thread (DeWalt, Makita, SPIT).
  • Loose black phosphated screws for hand fixing (SPIT).
  • Self-drilling screws, which drill the metal profile themselves.
  • Screws for fixing profiles, with washer head (Fischer).

How to choose

The substrate matters: fine thread and self-drilling point for sheet-metal profiles, coarse thread for timber. The length depends on the thickness of the boards to be fixed, single or double layer. For fitting large surfaces, collated screws with a magazine screwdriver are the better choice; for touch-ups and small quantities, loose screws will do.

Brands in the collection: DeWalt, Fischer, SPIT and Makita. AMES Srl works on a quotation basis: tell us the type, size and quantity and we will reply with availability and lead times.
