Metal Screws

Metal screws are used to fasten sheet metal, profiles and steel structures. This collection includes screws that drill the metal themselves and screws that tap their own thread, suitable for construction, flashing, sheet-metal roofing and industrial assembly.

Types in the collection

• Self-drilling screws, with a drill point that drills and taps in a single pass, including with hex head.
• Self-tapping screws for steel, in various sizes (DeWalt Vertigo).
• Flashing screws with bonded washer, including in A2 stainless steel.
• Screws with EPDM washer and screws for solar systems.

How to choose

Look at the thickness of the metal to be drilled: the self-drilling point has a thickness limit stated by the manufacturer. The washer with seal is for where watertightness must be maintained, such as on roofs and flashings; A2 stainless steel where there is damp or outdoors. The head and drive depend on the screwdriver used.
