Professional Vacuums

125 products · Industrial Vacuums

Professional vacuum cleaners are machines for extracting dust, debris and, in suitable models, liquids too, on construction sites, in workshops, and for cleaning and maintenance contractors. They are sturdier and larger in capacity than a household vacuum cleaner and are designed for heavy, daily use.

Types of vacuum cleaner in the collection

  • Site vacuums: with large tank and wheels, for working dust and debris.
  • Wet and dry vacuums: with plastic or stainless steel tank.
  • Trolley-mounted industrial vacuums: for large areas and continuous work.
  • Ash vacuums: compact models for fireplaces, stoves and fine residues.
  • Compact models: easy to carry in the workshop and for small jobs.

Brands include Kärcher, Nilfisk, Annovi Reverberi, SPIT, Rubi and Fervi.

How to choose the right vacuum cleaner

Consider what you need to pick up (fine dust, shavings, liquids, ash), the tank capacity, the power and the type of filter. If you have to move the machine often, weight and wheels matter; for operations that produce fine dust, check that the filtration is adequate.

Frequently asked questions: Professional Vacuums
What is the difference between a professional and a domestic vacuum cleaner?

A professional vacuum cleaner is sturdier, has a larger tank and a motor designed for intensive, continuous use. On building sites, in workshops and in cleaning companies, debris is heavier and more frequent than at home. For this reason, models are chosen with filters suited to the dust to be collected, robust hoses and wheels for moving around.

Dry vacuum or wet and dry: how do you choose?

If you only need to collect dust and dry debris, a dry vacuum is enough. If water or other liquids may end up in the tank, you need a wet and dry model, with a suitable filter and, where provided, a float shut-off system. Never suck up liquids with a machine not designed for them, as the motor may be damaged.

Which dust class is needed for the vacuum cleaner?

Dust classes L, M and H indicate the level of hazard of the dust that the filter safely retains. The choice depends on the type of dust produced in your work: compare the material with what the manufacturer specifies for the filter class. For harmful dusts, choose a higher class, such as H, and always check the model's data sheet.

Plastic or stainless steel tank: which is better?

A plastic tank is lighter, but it can scratch and deteriorate with some solvents. Stainless steel is more resistant to impacts and heavy work, but it is heavier. In workshops and on sites with sharp or metal debris, stainless steel lasts longer. Also check the tank capacity against the amount of material to be collected.

What are construction site vacuums with tank and wheels used for?

Construction site vacuums, such as the Ac 1625 or Ac 1630p from Spit, have a large tank and wheels for moving around during the work. They are designed to collect work dust, residue and debris on building sites, renovations and dry-processing jobs. Some models can start together with the connected tool: check this function on the data sheet.

When is an industrial trolley vacuum worthwhile?

An industrial trolley vacuum, such as the Nilfisk VL or VP series, is designed for large surfaces and continuous work in warehouses, workshops and production areas. The trolley makes it easy to move around during the whole job. For this type of machine, air flow and filter type matter more than tank capacity alone.

Which ash vacuum should you choose for fireplaces and stoves?

The ash vacuum is a compact model designed to collect hot or residual ash in fireplaces, stoves and open hearths. Ash can stay hot for a long time: use only models with a container and filter suited to this use, and do not suck up ash that may still be hot in a machine not designed for it.
