77 products · Tanks, Cisterns and Drums for Liquid Storage
Jerrycans are portable containers for carrying and storing fuel and other technical liquids on site, in the workshop and in the garden. In this collection you will find the containers and the accessories to fill and empty them without waste.
What you will find in this collection
- metal jerrycans, in painted steel, of various capacities
- plastic jerrycans, including combined fuel and oil cans
- jerrycans for carrying petrol
- funnels with filter, measuring jugs and graduated bottles
- spouts, filler necks and replacement seals
The brands available include Fervi, Verdelook, Makita, Unifix, Vigor, Efco, Husqvarna and A.M.E.S.
How to choose
Choose the jerrycan according to the liquid to be carried, checking that the container is suitable for that use, and the capacity you need: a jerrycan that is too large becomes heavy to handle. Metal is robust and suited to heavy use, while plastic is lighter. For two-stroke machines, such as chainsaws and brushcutters, combined fuel and oil cans are handy. Spouts and funnels make decanting cleaner.

Frequently asked questions: Jerrycans
Plastic or metal jerrycan: which should I choose for petrol?
A metal jerrycan is more rigid and better resists knocks in the workshop, while a plastic one is lighter and easier to carry. In either case check that the can suits the type of liquid, especially fuels, and follow the instructions on its data sheet. In this collection you will find plastic and metal cans of 5, 10 and 20 litres.
Which can should I use to carry fuel in a car or on a motorbike?
To carry fuel you need cans designed for this use, placed in a stable position, away from the passenger compartment and heat sources. Limit the quantity to what is needed and follow the transport rules for flammable liquids. In this collection you will find 5 and 10 litre cans, as well as the 5+2 litre double can.
How do I transfer fuel without wasting it?
Use a fuel transfer pump or a funnel with a filter to avoid dirt and drips in the receiving tank. Transfer away from flames and heat sources, and do not fill the can to the brim, because liquid expands when warm. The metal spout helps control the flow without spilling.
Measuring cylinders and graduated jugs: which tool should I choose to measure a liquid?
A transparent measuring cylinder is more accurate for small quantities, while a graduated jug is more practical for pouring larger volumes. For mixing petrol and oil for two-stroke engines there is a dedicated measuring cylinder, which prevents dosing errors. Always check the scale before pouring.
Which funnel with a filter should I use to fill a tank?
The funnel with a filter traps impurities and dirt before the liquid enters the tank, which is useful with fuels or oils. The flexible Moplen funnel bends to reach tight spaces, while the sheet-metal funnel is more rigid and sturdy. Choose the size according to the opening of the filler neck.
What is the difference between a measuring cup and a graduated jug?
A measuring cup is small and used to dose precise quantities, while a graduated jug is larger and used to pour liquids in greater volumes. In this collection you will find tinplate measuring cups with a spout, in 1000 ml and 2000 ml sizes, and polypropylene measuring cups. Before use, check that the scale is readable and that the material is compatible with the liquid.
How do I store jerrycans safely?
Store them in a well-ventilated place, away from heat sources and flames, upright and with the cap firmly closed. Do not keep large quantities of fuel at home, and check periodically that the cap and gasket are intact. Label each can with its contents to avoid pouring the wrong liquid.
