The sanding plate or backing pad is a support fitted to the multi-tool that holds the sandpaper for sanding flat surfaces and corners.
What it is for
Used for sanding surfaces before painting and for sanding surfaces, as preparation or as a finish.
How to use it
Fit it to the tool while switched off, apply the abrasive sheet and check that it is firmly attached. Rest it flat on the surface and let the oscillation do the work with light pressure. Change the sheet when it is clogged or worn smooth, and clean the dust off the support.
