Weldon-type milling cutter chuck Fervi 4/06B50

What it is

The Fervi 4/06B50 Weldon-type end mill holder is an accessory for milling machines dedicated to clamping end mills with a cylindrical shank and Weldon flat. It is fitted with a Ø 6 mm bore and an ISO 50 mount made to the DIN 2080 standard, with a d1 - h6 tolerance that ensures concentricity and a secure grip on the tool.

These are chucks with a tapered shank, often Morse taper, that hold milling cutters or drill bits and fit into the taper of the machine tool.

What it is for

Used for milling faces, shoulders and slots on machine tools and in workshop machining of steel, aluminium and alloy parts.

How to use it

Clean the taper and the socket thoroughly of oil and swarf, then insert the shank with a slight twist and a firm push so that the taper seats. Tighten the tool with the specified key or drawbar. To remove it, use the proper tool, without striking the chuck.
