What it is
The Fervi M019/30/40 three-point internal micrometer is a precision measuring instrument dedicated to checking internal diameters, including blind holes. It covers a measuring range of 30-40 mm and adopts the three-point contact principle, which allows automatic centring in the hole and a stable, repeatable reading. The product complies with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC with CE marking and is made in Italy with certified production.
The micrometer is a precision instrument with a micrometer screw for accurately measuring external diameters, thicknesses, depths or internal diameters, in analogue or digital versions.
What it is for
Used in quality control of parts and workmanship and for measuring on site and in the workshop.
How to use it
Clean the measuring surfaces and zero the instrument using the standard supplied. Bring the workpiece up by turning the thimble and finish with the ratchet stop, until it clicks, without over-tightening. Read the measurement on the barrel and thimble, or on the display. After use, store it in its case, with the faces not in contact.
