What it is
The Fervi 0770/MA abrasive wheel is a workshop accessory for grinding and sharpening operations, measuring Ø 250 x 50 mm with a Ø 32 mm centre hole. The 220 grit makes it suited to finishing work, where a fine abrasive action is needed to obtain clean surfaces and well-finished cutting edges. Its low weight of 0.20 kg makes fitting and replacement easier.
Grinding wheels and points are vitrified-bonded, cloth or tungsten carbide tools, shank-mounted or bored, for grinding, deburring, sharpening and finishing metals and other materials.

Used for tool maintenance, keeping tools sharp and efficient and for grinding parts and sharpening tools.
How to use it
Check that the wheel's maximum speed is equal to or higher than that of the machine and that the wheel is not cracked. Insert the shank fully into the collet, or mount the wheel with its flanges, and let it run unloaded for a few seconds before starting work. Work with light, steady pressure, wearing safety glasses or a face shield and gloves.
