The workshop press is a machine with a ram operated by hand, with rack or hydraulic, or electromechanical, that exerts a large force to press-fit and remove bearings and to straighten and bend parts.
What it is for
Used in workshop machining of steel, aluminium and alloy parts, in mechanical maintenance of machinery and plant, during scheduled shutdowns or breakdowns and for workshop maintenance.
How to use it
Fix it to a bench or the floor and place the workpiece in the centre of the table, on suitable supports or spacers. Bring the ram into contact and increase the force gradually, without exceeding the stated capacity. Keep your hands out of the pressing zone, use guards and safety glasses and, on hydraulic presses, check the oil level.
