What it is
Fervi SCW100 clean strip wheels for satin finishers are open-fibre abrasive accessories measuring 100 x 100 mm with a bore diameter of 19.1 mm, designed to remove paint, rust, oxides and residues without cutting deeply into the underlying metal. The open-filament structure reduces clogging and keeps the cleaning action consistent. The maximum rotational speed is 3700 rpm, a value that must be observed for safe use.
Bore-type abrasive cloth or felt wheels are thick discs with a central bore, fitted on the spindle of a bench grinder or a satin-finishing machine for satin finishing, deburring and polishing metals.
What it is for
Used for preparing surfaces before treatment, for cleaning oxides, grease and machining residues from metal and for removing rust and oxides.
How to use it
Fit them on the spindle with the flanges and check that the maximum speed marked on the wheel is equal to or greater than that of the machine. Run idle for a few seconds before working and work with light, constant pressure. Wear safety glasses or a face shield and gloves.
