What it is
The Fervi F015/020 hole saw with a diameter of Ø 20 mm is a cutting tool for making clean round holes in sheet metal and thin materials. The 20 mm diameter is among the most in demand for standard drilling that must be clean and uniform.
Hole saws and annular cutters are cylindrical cutting tools, toothed or carbide-tipped, for large holes with a drill or, with a Weldon shank, a magnetic drill.
What it is for
Used for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill, in metalworking and for running services through walls, floors and suspended ceilings.
How to use it
Fit the tool to the arbor or directly in the Weldon chuck, with a pilot drill or ejector pin. Secure the workpiece or the drill base firmly, set a speed suited to the diameter and material, and drill with a steady feed, lubricating on metal. When the hole is complete, eject the slug and check the sharpness of the cutting edges.
