Set of diamond drill bits and core bits, continuous rim, Fervi P031/06S

What it is

The Fervi P031/06S continuous-rim diamond drill bit and core bit set comprises sizes Ø 16, 22, 25, 28, 30 and 35 mm, with an 11 mm hex shank and an overall length of 90 mm. The continuous rim, with a 5 mm diamond height and 50/60 grit, is sized for drilling medium to large diameters in hard materials. The set weighs 0.99 kg and is supplied in a 260x200x65 mm pack.

Glass and tile bits are carbide spear-point bits and diamond cutters or core bits for drilling tiles, porcelain stoneware, glass and stone without chipping them.

What it is for

Used for drilling a range of materials, with the right bit for the substrate and for laying tiles and slabs, from spreading the adhesive to grouting.

How to use it

Always drill without hammer action, starting the hole with a guide template or with the bit angled so it does not skate on the glaze, then straighten up. Cool glass and tile bits with water; use diamond core bits, including those with an angle grinder fitting, dry or wet depending on the type, with a slight oscillating movement to clear debris. Work with light pressure so as not to overheat the diamond.
