What it is

Fervi 0569 steel shot for sandblasters is an abrasive intended for sandblasting and shot-peening processes, for the treatment and finishing of metal surfaces. The product has an S390 grade with a diameter of 1.2 mm and a hardness between 40 and 50 HRC, characteristics that determine its cleaning and finishing action. It is supplied in a pack with a net weight of 25 kg (gross weight 25.00 kg) in packaging measuring 300x70x335 h mm, suitable for intensive use.

Blasting abrasive is the granular or spherical material that is projected onto the workpiece by compressed air; each type, for example corundum, garnet, glass beads, steel shot, silicon carbide or bicarbonate, has a different hardness and action.

What it is for

Used for preparing surfaces before treatment, for removing rust and oxides and for sandblasting surfaces.

How to use it

Choose the type and grit size according to the material to be treated and the desired result, and use it dry, because moisture clogs the nozzle. Load the machine with the quantity indicated. Renew it when it has broken down or clumped, and store it in a dry place. Work wearing eye and respiratory protection.
